The food was so delicious I got the quesabirria tacos, the consomé was tasty. My boyfriend got the menudo, that menudo was really good as well had so much flavor. The service was fast and staff were attentive. A hidden gem!

I recently ordered takeout from this small Mexican restaurant in downtown Pismo Beach, and I was impressed from start to finish. Calling in my order was a breeze - the staff was super friendly and helpful over the phone. When I arrived to pick up my order, I was greeted by a cheerful young lady with a beautiful smile. She even let me snap a quick photo of her handing me my Coca-Cola - talk about friendly service! The food itself was delicious - everything was fresh, well-prepared, and flavorful. My family and I were craving burritos and got a to go order from this place for their birria California burrito (with fries inside). The burrito was good, nothing crazy unique, but definitely hit the spot in the moment! The meat in the burrito needed to be evened out a little more but did appreciate that it had more flavor than the last taco place I reviewed. My mom also got their quesobirria tacos which were a lot better/more flavorful than the place I tried before but still nothing life changing. Overall a pretty good spot though!
This is one of the best Mexican taquerias I have ever had. It tasted like home cooking. Everything was delicious and handmade there. We had the chilaquiles with the delicious red sauce that came out nice and crisp. It was combined with rice and refried beans. The quesadilla with chile verde was honestly one of my favorite chile verdes I have ever had. The pork was so soft and the sauce was savory with a hint spice. Amazing, don't sleep on this spot!
Chorizo burrito all day at Morenos! I mean I don't know if they serve them all day but they should! Let's talk about the homemade red salsa! Wow! Just wow! It needs its own 5 stars. Service was average for a busy morning and when a place is good you will wait a bit. Plenty of seating to sit and enjoy your breakfast with the family!
Oh. My. Gosh. You need to go here. We stopped in because my kids love birria, and I saw it on their menu. It's a small place on a corner with two other larger Mexican food restaurants right across the street. After one bite of the birria taco, my son said it was the best thing he'd ever had. It was great. The flan was also great. The service was friendly and fast. The lady who took our order didn't speak much English, but we figured it out pretty easily. Great place. Will return every time we are in town!
